Join a National Working Group!

National Working Groups are teams that work on either on a specific area of global health, or an operational area within Medsin, to deliver projects that enact tangible change within Medsin, and in the wider world. There are opportunities for students of all subjects, universities and backgrounds to get involved. No background knowledge is required! NWGs are a shared learning experience, which aim to capture the enthusiasm, skills and knowledge of individuals from across the country.

Operational areas include Global Health Education, Policy & Advocacy, Fundraising, Diversifying and Comms. We have active topic-specific NWGs in Ethical Procurement for Health, Global Surgery, Maternal & Child Health, the NHS, Neglected Tropical Diseases and the Post-2015 Agenda. These groups write academic publications, run campaigns, produce guidance and policy and advocate for change in their area.
