PLOS Global Public Health – explore our Ebola research

In our latest blog post, contributor Krutika Kuppalli reflects on the decade that has passed since Ebola Virus Disease was declared an emergency:
On August 8, 2014, the World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General declared the outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC), the highest global health alert, signifying the outbreak posed a public health risk to other Member States and necessitated a coordinated international response.4
Since PLOS Global Public Health began publishing research in 2021, we’ve published a diverse selection of interdisciplinary research to document and learn from the Ebola outbreak and the outbreak response. Below you can explore some of our Open Access published research, which was peer reviewed by our Editorial Board and expert peer reviewers.
