PLOS BLOGS Speaking of Medicine and Health

About This Blog

Speaking of Medicine and Health is the PLOS medical and health journals’ blog. We hope to provide an exciting venue for readers, authors, editors and friends of the PLOS medical and health journals to discuss global health topics and issues that are important to build an equitable and sustainable future.

We are interested in submissions on topics that are relevant to the field of general medicine to improve health worldwide, as well as issues that are controversial or provocative if they can advance policy systems, equity, social justice and natural systems and help the most vulnerable populations worldwide.

We encourage researchers and health policy experts to share their experiences from the field, views on critical health issues, hopes for the future of medicine and health, opinions on the medical education system, as well as any other thoughts about topics relevant to global health research and public health practice.

If you would like to submit a post for consideration, please email speakingofmedicine@plos.org and read through our author guidelines.
